1. The service
Deadline Chaser is a spreadsheet add-on that previews, schedules, and sends deadline reminders and escalations based on configuration and data supplied by the user.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of spreadsheet data, email addresses, reminder content, and recipients. You must have an appropriate basis for contacting each recipient and must not use Deadline Chaser for spam, harassment, phishing, unlawful surveillance, or other abusive activity.
3. Account and access
You must maintain a valid Google account and grant the permissions required for the add-on to function. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for protecting access to your spreadsheets.
4. Availability and changes
The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Features can be updated to improve reliability, security, usability, or compliance. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid unnecessary disruption.
5. Fees
The current MVP is offered free of charge. If paid features are introduced, pricing, renewal terms, cancellation options, and any applicable trial terms will be disclosed before purchase. No payment is collected under these terms today.
6. Disclaimer
Deadline Chaser is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It is a convenience tool, not a guaranteed notification, compliance, legal, or records-management system. You should maintain appropriate independent controls for critical deadlines.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deadline Chaser's operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, opportunities, or business arising from use of the service.
8. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended for abuse, security risks, policy violations, or unlawful use. You may stop using the service at any time by pausing follow-ups, uninstalling the add-on, and revoking access through your Google account.
9. Google
Deadline Chaser is an independent product. Google does not sponsor or endorse it. Google Sheets, Apps Script, and related services are governed by Google's own terms.
